Joseph Akisanmi, known as Jojo, is an Irish powerlifter and entrepreneur based in Dublin. He competes in classic (unequipped) powerlifting under the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) through its Irish affiliate, the Irish Powerlifting Federation, and represents Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) in university competition.

In February 2025 he won the men's -66kg class at the European University Powerlifting Cup in Hamm, Luxembourg, a European Powerlifting Federation event held under the patronage of the European University Sports Association. Five months later, in July 2025, he won the same class at the IPF World University Cup in Istanbul with a 613.5 kg total: a 205 kg squat, a 135 kg bench press and a 273.5 kg deadlift, finishing half a kilo ahead of the silver medallist.

He first represented Ireland at the IPF World Classic Junior Championships in St. Paul's Bay, Malta, in September 2024, finishing ninth in the -66kg junior class with a 602.5 kg total, an Irish junior national record. Domestically, he is a three-time Irish Junior National champion in the -66kg class (2023, 2024 and 2025). For the 2026 season he moved up to the -74kg class.

Outside the sport, Akisanmi is the founder of Castquill, a Dublin-based user-generated content (UGC) platform that connects performance brands with creators who have first-hand experience in the products they feature. He also works with brands directly as an athlete and creator through his own Instagram account, @jojo.ak04, in gymwear and activewear, powerlifting equipment, supplements and nutrition, and streetwear and footwear.

Castquill is a UGC content platform based in Dublin, Ireland, founded by Joseph Akisanmi. It connects performance brands with vetted creators in four specialist niches: fitness and activewear, health and supplements, personal finance and fintech, and sleep and wellness. Brands brief a campaign, creators who genuinely use that category of product make the content, and the finished videos are delivered ready to run as ads, typically within five to seven days.

The platform's roster, the Castquill Studio, is a hand-picked shortlist of signed creators rather than an open directory. Akisanmi runs the brand side of the business, including outreach and campaign briefs, and appears on the platform's example creator profile.
